RWS, 15/08/2017Berner Fleck Wettich advises Robert Bosch Group on planned acquisition of M.T.A. S.p.A.

Robert Bosch S.p.A., an Italian subsidiary of the Robert Bosch Group, (“Robert Bosch“) have announced that they will acquire 100% of the share capital of M.T.A. S.p.A. (“MTA“). MTA develops, produces and sells highly efficient HVAC systems for industrial processes and commercial applications. The comprehensive product portfolio for industrial and commercial applications focuses on chiller technology as well as heat pumps with output ratings up to 1.7 megawatts. The parties agreed not to disclose any financial details of the transaction. In 2016, MTA had about 400 employees and generated a turnover of about 76 million Euros. The transaction remains subject to regulatory approval.

Berner Fleck Wettich advised Robert Bosch as local counsel on all questions related to German law as part of a multidisciplinary and international team led by BonelliErede including Uría Menéndez (Spanish law), K&L Gates (US law), and Schönherr Rechtsanwälte (Romanian law). MTA was advised by Chiomenti.
